Rainwater harvesting (RWH) is the ancient practice of collecting rainwater and storing it for later use. Our RWH systems include a roof catchment, conveyance network, rainwater storage tank, pump, and fixtures. Most systems also incorporate treatment technologies to improve the quality of rainwater before and/or after storage. We include provisions for periods of insufficient rainfall (a water make-up supply) and times of excessive rainfall (overflow provisions).
The most important consideration when designing and installing a RWH system are the pertinent codes, regulations, standards, bylaws. Other considerations include how the design, installation and management of RWH systems can affect the quantity of water saved.
